Stop Traveling Solo

Leadership is lonely.

Managing is hard.

Never have two truer statements been made.

Here’s the reality: your company is NOT going to fully train your managers.

And trying to figure things out on your own isn’t a great or effective strategy.

So what’s the alternative?

Acquiring more knowledge is better than doing nothing.

But rarely does the information transform you into being a better leader.

There’s one element missing from all organizational training programs.

Community.

Think about it.

Support groups help addicts, new moms, mental health, etc.

Why wouldn’t it work for managers?

Listen to this video about why community is important and here’s an article in case you need more proof.

If misery loves company, managers should be connecting with other managers.

Here’s what I propose.

  • A 5-month program consisting of monthly workshops (topics listed here)

  • Monthly 1:1 coaching check-ins

  • Virtual mastermind for all managers (where conversations happen & questions are answered)

This is different because it’s not just information transfer.

The power is in the connections built inside the community.

Shared experiences of struggles mixed with practical leadership tips.

This is about gathering people who are responsible for developing people.

People are too dynamic to hold annual or one-time manager training.

It’s time for change.

Help me create this manager’s mastermind by replying to this email (or forward it to someone it would benefit).

God Bless,
